day camp
Our Day Camp program runs Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm each day
Campers will be put into groups according to their riding ability as it is our primary goal to keep all our riders safe and in a learning environment that will see them succeed.
Each day will include 2 riding lessons and 2 stablemangement lessons. (weather permitting)
Each camper is expected to lead, groom and tack up their own pony each day. Our stablemangement lessons focus on these things as well as a number of other every day horse care topics such as care for the ponies and the tack they wear.
We have a varied program for everyone from those that this is their first horse experience to those that have been riding horses for years.
Friday at 3 pm camper will put on a demonstration of the skill they have learnt during the week at our "Show" for all parents and guest to come watch.
The Details
Cost $575 per week (+ HST)
All campers are required to wear foot ware with a 1/2" heel and a properly fitted, current, ASTM/SEI approved Equine Helmet. (for safety reasons we do not allow Bicycle Helmets), We have some available to rent for $15/week
A Non-refundable deposit of $200/week of day is required with application, the balance is due June 15th (if application is made past June 15th, full payment is required)
All participants MUST have a waiver signed by the legal parent or guardian to participate in any camp activities. A copy of the waiver can be seen here. If you are sending your child with another family member or friend please make sure you send a signed copy of this waiver with your child.
Registrations received by Apr 1st will receive a free T-Shirt. If you miss this deadline there will be a few available for purchase @ $20 each
Deposit is non-refundable. Balance will be refunded if notification is received a minimum of one month prior to the start date of camp, after which no refund will be made without a medical certificate. No refunds after the first day of camp
A $25 service charge will apply to all NSF cheques
